Bukkake

A quick look into the agony of a man who just wants to try bukkake (LMGTFY) with his girl. Despite the interesting name, this is SFW. Heh.

An amusing short about two girls talking about Pi.

La Culpa (Guilt)

A mindfuck of a movie, even though it's less than 13 minutes. Features death, blood, and the spiraling stages of guilt. Totally understandable why it won a number of awards at film festivals. Brilliant!

Flatmates 3.0

Brilliant little film showing just how people communicate with each other nowadays.

The Third & The Seventh

This one's a lovely visual treat. Eargasmic too. I'd loop this, but I can't take so much beauty in one sitting.

I suggest you enjoy this in fullscreen wonder over at Vimeo.

La Cruz (The Cross)

What was supposedly a nice drive out by the countryside quickly turns into something sinister. Note to self: long, lonely roads are no place to practice my skills behind the wheel.

Probably NSFW, as there's some blood, among other things.

Khessal

This short documentary is about khessal ("skin whitening"), and its role in the lives of women in Senegal, Africa. (Read more about it in this article.)

This hit a nerve in me, as I know how it feels like to work too hard to attain a certain standard of beauty. At the very least, do remember to proceed with caution.

Fist of Jesus

A comedy slasher flick with incredibly gruesome gore, zombies, a killing Christ, and lots of fish. High tolerance is recommended - the gore is amazingly gross.

Definitely not for the faint-hearted. Probably Very NSFW. Nevertheless, silly fun.

(En)terrados ((Buried) Over The Roofs)

As "normal" as some people may look on the surface, they may be having a number of troubles too - like looking for a place to live in at the city.

Still, after a long day, it is nice to sit down and kick back. Yes, even in a bustling city with not enough housing, there's space to breathe.

Un Pijama De Perritos (Pajamas With Little Dogs)

Well, you never know who you will meet on Chatroulette, after all.

This one's quick and interesting, and still managed to surprise me. It's funny, and yet also... unfunny. Remember: tread carefully.

Bárbara

Classic noir, complete with femme fatale. Simple, yet effectively caught me unawares. I applaud this.

Rosa

This one's happily science fiction, being post-apocalyptic in nature, with cyborgs abound. I love its premise, and it looks amazing to boot. I particularly like how it achieved an in-depth storyline without dialogue. Really great.

Tiempo (Time)

A multi-awarded short film narrated by a humble watch. Such genius in 10 minutes with wonderful shots, a subtle plot, and black-and-white significance. Wonderful, wonderful film.

Niebla (Fog)

A beautiful animated short film. Rather poetic, what with talk of sheep from the sky and floating babies. Very nice, though - so nice to have won awards, too. Enjoy the magical realism.

La Corona de Sofía

A mixed media film about a 21st century girl born to wear a crown. Features some fantasy elements, and there seems to be an allegorical theme to it too. Interesting, to say the least - especially the post-production work.

La Cabina (The Phone Box)

This one's an oldie, but definitely a goodie. Nice use of lighting, sound and just the right amount of filler dialogue to create an atmosphere. I still can't process how such an everyday thing can be so... extraordinary. The creeps this one gave me will last for some time.
